India's journey Of Covid-19

India as a country is a very big nation. It is culturally diverse and have people from almost every religion living here. On population perspective we are worlds #2. Having huge no. Of people have two sides one is positive and other negative. Currently we are facing negative side of having huge population.

COVID-19 IN INDIA.

First case of covid-19 in india occurs back on 30 January 2020. We were not prepared government was not prepared as till that time we were not expecting situation like this. Cases rises our doctors continue to do efforts but cases started to goes up. We get news from officials to follow social distancing and all. Cases becomes more horrible and covid no. Was increasing day by day. On 23rd march we get "JANTA CURFEW" by our pm which almost everyone follow. We were asked to clap for our doctors and front line Warriors (which was a great gesture to show gratitude). And after that we were imposed by lockdown which according to our government was necessary to cut the chain of corona virus. The lockdown dates are as follow.

Phase 1: 25 March 2020 – 14 April 2020 (21 days)
Phase 2: 15 April 2020 – 3 May 2020 (19 days)
Phase 3: 4 May 2020 – 17 May 2020 (14 days)
Phase 4: 18 May 2020 – 31 May 2020 (14 days)
Phase 5 (only for containment zones): 1 June 2020 – ongoing (19 days); scheduled to end on 30 June 2020
*Most hit indian states.

Methods we were asked to follow during lockdown.

•Ban on people from stepping out of their homes
•All services and shops closed except pharmacies, hospitals, banks, grocery shops and other essential services
•Closure of commercial and private establishments (only work-from-home allowed)
Suspension of all educational, training, research institutions
•Closure of all places of worship
Suspension of all non-essential public and private transport
•Prohibition of all social, political, sports, entertainment, academic, cultural, religious activities

We were also introduced with ' arogya setu app' to detect covid affacted people near us. On some respect this was helpful but app has many issues and rose to many conflicts.

Things that made situation worse::

1. Ignorance by people, many people take covid lightly rejects to follow social distancing and did not follow lockdown they continue to walk on streets without proper protection.

2. Religious beliefs of some group, at the time when we were asked to follow social distancing and to stay home some people decided to offer 'namaj' and perform 'pujas' with mass gathering.

3. The Tablighi jamaat, only it alone made situation worse in delhi at a time when things were under control jamaat came and made everything worse. People associated with jamaat try to hid in madarsas and endangering lives of others. Delhi government has to run special operation to find those people.

4. Social evil , some people do also throw stones on corona warriors who went to treat them. They literally made them run for their life and to go back. Some people also misbehaves in hospitals with female staf and other members of hospital.
5. Lack of medication, if at right time we had done testing in containment zones and try to stop the spread, things would have been better right now.
