Need Of Women Empowerment

Gender equality is first and foremost a human Right. women empowerment refers to making them capable of achieving big in life and providing womens with equal rights and opportunities. Women has suffered a lot through the years and are still suffering in the current society. Women empowerment is a need that everyone should encourage for a country's development because without women a society cannot develop.

Why women empowerment necessary?

Every country has a history of ill treating women on gender basis. cases of domestic violence, sexual assaults, abuses on social media, over restrictions imposed by parents these are the major stones in the road of women empowerment. Many people think that the days of women fighting for their rights are over but those people are wrong because one out of every three women have been public ally sexually harassed by random men they don’t know. India is one of the most dangerous country for women safety due to increase in rape cases and domestic violence.

About 2/3 of worlds illiterate adults are womens. In most cases women are not allowed to persue higher education and married off early due to age old beliefs that prime job of a women is to raise family. In india girl aged above 25 are often treated like a burden on family, some group of people start questioning why she is not getting married? Is there any affairs? Is there some health problem?

Domestic violence on women has significantly increased Women are often considered weaker than mens in society and thus men express their anger on them.
Also in many big companies and industries women are paid less than men for the same job. In film industries too female actors are paid less compared to male. This is one of the reason why women do not prefer to work.

Encouraging Women Empowerment

Government is doing campaigns and advertisment for encouraging women to come forward for development of nation but the problem lies in society which is still stuck in 90's. For them women should be at home and raise children. Working women are not treated well in society, often questions rise on their character.

Change should be in mentality of people, they need to understand the need and encourage their daughter or wife to go out and achieve big. New Zealand a nation which is run by a female prime minister is doing well compared to many big nation in handling current pandemic which shows us the leadership power of women. According to a study women handle a bad situation better than men, women can take bolder decision which men hesitate to take.

Government is now allowing women to get higher rank in Army,  recently S DHAMI became the first lady flight commander in Indian Air Force.

For the women, they need to understand they can do big in their life without the need of a men. The shame of divorce and abuse must be thrown out. Many women live in a abusive relationship just for the sake of her family and the so called society. " Log Kya Sochenge" this statement is worlds most dangerous statement, most women stuck in their toxic relationship just for this. Parents and family need to stand with their daughter after marriage, it is not their destiny to live a hellish life. It is okay to live alone than living with a cruel men for the sake of false society.

Is it possible to achieve true women empowerment??

If everyone question themselves is it really possible for the society to accept the change and women empowerment? The answer would be a big NO. First this hollow society is not ready, they won't let women empowerment a success.

Second and most important is pseudo feminism. Many women in the name of equal rights and opportunities suppress men. They just jump to a conclusion that men are wrong. There has been many incident in past in which girls take advantage of this to take their revenge or for gaining popularity. Remember the case of Sarvjeet?

True women empowerment is seeing a lady doctor saving lifes, seeing a lady officer catching criminals, seeing female engineers building nation, and seeing female graduates running million dollar companies.

In ancient Hindu vedas and Purans womens are considered a symbol of power. Goddess Durga is a symbol of fearless power, and kindness. Our history taught us to respect womens. We should all encourage women empowerment. It is a need and must for our society. Women empowerment is a must.
